Illamasqua Creator Nail Varnish

Manicures, Reviews

Black with sliver sparkles, that sparkle different colors. Formula is really good. Bottle is attractive. Color is pretty, but its nothing super special.

I paid $17 for it at Sephora only to find out 3 days later and after I applied it that it is on sale for $11 on Illamasqua’s website!!! However, I would have had to pay shipping and wait for it.

Their nail varnishes are normally $23.02 on the website, the $17 I paid for this one is pricey for me but $23 is probably never going to happen. Sephora doesn’t carry all their colors, and that is a shame because there are a lot I want to try but not at full price!

I like this black, but I wish I had bought a different color. There is only so much you can say about black nail polish!

This one was pretty hard to photograph too, my camera wanted nothing to do with this.

  1. It’s a nice shade, but I tend to be pretty cheap when it comes to nail polish (except when it comes to my developing Essie addiction…). Oh man, I would have been so peeved that I didn’t get the sale price, but if I read correctly it seems like you got it cheaper through Sephora.

    1. Yeah I did. I wanted to try their regular formula, but the higher end polish prices are just nuts. I mean I was in Walmart last night and go two polishes for $8 and the Sinful colors ones were like $1.98. Probably my last high end polish…. unless they go on an amazing sale!

      1. I agree. I would rather have more cheap polishes for the price of one high end one especially because high end doesn’t even guarantee that it’s good!
