I’m shocked that it’s already August, I feel like it was just yesterday that I was doing Christmas posts. Thankfully July is finally over, it was the neverending month for me… it just wouldn’t stop. So now that it’s gone, we get to look through some of my boring monthly favorites. I’ve been on a bit of a no-buy the last month, and with it being the hottest part of summer, I’m not interested in wearing much of anything.Chanel Soleil De Tan:
This has been my go-to all summer long, as I’ve said in previous months, it’s helped me continue to wear my Hourglass Tinted Moisturizer thats about one shade off with my tan. I can wear this product all year round, but it matches me perfectly in the summer. I’ve had this pot for over a year and have used maybe half (click here for full review).
Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade:
If you have read my blog for any length of time, you know that I haven’t used another brow product since I purchased this one. It doubles as a liner, and does that job just as good (click here for full review).
Benefit They’re Real Push Up Liner:
Is either a love it, or HATE item. I personally find that it does work, and works well when used properly. I do still use other liners, but I have noticed that shaping my wing with gel liner and a brush is much harder than with this product. I can’t say for sure if I’ll re-purchase this, that will be dependant on how long it lasts (click here for full review).
MAC Strobe Cream:
I use this after my moisturizer and under my base. It doubles as a (light) moisturizer and a light reflecting base. It keep my skin looking dewy and fresh even if I’m wearing a whole face of cake. I purchased this toward the end of winter last year, so I have yet to wear it through the harsh colder months, but I have high hopes.
e.l.f Small Stipple Brush:
Is worth the whole $3 this thing costs. I’m not a big fan of e.l.f’s makeup, as I’ve seen some pretty scary ingredients pop up in some of their items. However, their brushes are awesome, and cheap. Go get this one.. and the big one!!
Nail Art Dotting Tools:
I finally got some real ones. I’ve been using one, short, cheap, crappy one that came in a Wal-Mart nail kit for over a year now. These make life so much easier!!
No 7 Lash Adapt Mascara & Body Drench Candy Licious Balm:
Both of these are amazing, and wont be leaving my side ever. The No 7 mascara is my holy grail mascara, and no matter what I try I always have one of these in my stash. I refuse to buy high-end mascara because I throw mine away on a 3 month schedule.
The Body Drench Balm came in a subscription box, and I love it. It tastes just like grape soda, which is AMAZING.
Benefit Boi-ing #2:
I use this all year, and it matches 100% of the time. Blends in like it’s not even there, but still a full coverage concealer. I use this under my eye’s most of the time, and only on the occasional blemish that warrants that level of attention. I’ve been using this concealer for almost 2 years now, and I don’t plan on looking back.
I didn’t photograph the Chocolate Bar Palette because I couldn’t get a picture I liked, thankfully I have an entire review full of swatches you can check out (here). I’ve been back in the palette everyday, and I still love it. This is a good one to own, lots of gorgeous colors, and more than just browns. Smells like chocolate, which is worth it for me.
I hope July was good to you all, August will see my son go back to school (WHOOO, Happy Mom Dance), and lots more baby prep.
❤
Yep yep I hear you! Almost all my brushes are elf and they lasted me like 5years 0_o
I have a few of them, and I love them all. Very much worth it!
The pictures in this post are gorgeous! Great favourites lovely! I’ve been using my chocolate bar palette a lot too 🙂
It’s really hard to stay away from something that smells so good and has such pretty colors!
I know right! I have the milk chocolate bronzer too & I just love smelling them both haha
They are on my list, I just don’t use powder bronzer that much. What would I give for a cream bronzer from them… MMMMMM..
Haha you should tweet them & suggest it! 🙂
Yes I should…..
Love the Chanel!! it’s one of my favorite products that I reach for over and over again! I also realized that I haven’t used the Bo-ing product in quite a long time! I used to really enjoy using it and it gave great coverage!!!
I can’t live without that concealer. I wear it with some powder and a little eye makeup and that’s it. I love it!
I love the body drench lipbalm, I received mine in Cotton Candy. smells great
Ewww, I’m so glad I didn’t get cotton candy, I hate that stuff. Sounds like the other flavors are just as good though, nice to know.
I am constantly looking for a good under eye concealer that blends in–I’ll have to try the Benefit. You always have great “favorites” posts!
Thank you, I hope you do get to try it, and I hope it works for you.
Love the choices !
Love all your products which you choose so i think that a great choice which make our makeup attractive. !!~
I’ve heard good things about the Boi-ing. I really should check it out. I’m still curious about the Benefit Liner, so I really want a chance to try it (without shelling out the big bucks for a full-size).
Being able to try a sample size would be great. I have a full review on it, and it works well for me.
